Great meal, great service. Large selection of scotches. Quality of food seems high, both in content and in the cooking. Scottish flavours and themes. Enjoyed the waiter's good nature. No negatives. There was a slight wait for the food but we'll worth it.
I’m leaving with the biggest smile on my face and looking forward to my next visit to The Bothy... I’ve lived in Scotland for a few years and it feels a little like home. Some people say Canadians are nice, but they have nothing on the Scots! They are the nicest and the lovely guy behind the bar was no different. Thank you for giving me such a good time, it was nice to chat about Scotland, and you weren’t lying, your haggis was some of the best! Love it every time I go here. A peerless selection of glorious dusty (discontinued and extinct) scotch whiskies like Bruichladdich from years ago and Dallas Dhu, a very rare bottle to stumble across. I get the haggis every time I go as it’s to die for but this time I tried the succulent pork belly and kimchi too. Absolute gem of a spot.
Great spot with an awesome atmosphere. We did both the wine and whisky Samplers (Flights) with the Charcuterie board. Uike.most places we got to choose our own cheese and meets. This was a fun night for sure.
Thank you Bothy for 15 years of serving our city! What a fabulous celebration on Wednesday. It was truly an honour to be a part of this special night. We made a reservation for 8, but our gracious waitress let us sneak in 2 extra seats. What a fun Ladies Night the place was packed! We all squeezed into this spot in the middle of the room with a cheeky lil pup in a crown overlooking us. We had wonderful in depth conversations, really getting to know each other and well lubricated from the wine. Helping us open up. Thanks Bothy! The vibe was so warm and friendly with live music and beautiful songs. This place had very attentive service and delicious British food! I grabbed the Chicken Pot Pie and side Ceasar. So tasty! Thanks to the Bothy for giving us all sweet swag bags too!
Amazing place in Edmonton!! EVERYONE is so welcoming! Even the customers! Super delicious food . It's my husband's new fave spot! There are so many regulars there that make you feel part of a great community! Super recommended! No kids, great selection on wines! There is tons of parking, and it is a great place to chat with friends!
Loved the service, and food was amazing we had the chicken pot pie and it was so flaky, crispy, and creamy. We enjoyed our wine and service, only small minor complaint is the size of the restaurant all the tables were quite close to each other.
Came with a group of 6 - the best were the mussels appetizers and the pies for entrees. The pork chop special was also delicious! Chris, our server, was running the whole place by himself like a champ! Will definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone.
